Sunflower Montessori regularly looks for professional, Montessori-Certified lead teachers who have great latitude in curriculum development, as well as assistant and substitute teachers (certification not required). We are looking for patient, loving, and knowledgeable care givers!

 

Job Requirements for lead teacher: 

​

• Accredited Montessori Certification

• Must be available to work from 7:30am through 5:30pm.

• Must be at least eighteen years of age. 

• Must have BA in Education or related field OR 2 years of experience in a licensed child care setting. 

• Must have or obtain Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification 

• Must have record of MMR and tetanus

• Must pass criminal background check.

Job Requirements for assistant & substitute teachers: 

​

• Must be at least eighteen years of age. 

• Must have or obtain Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification 

• Must have record of MMR and tetanus

• Must pass criminal background check.

Wages DOE for training and trial period, Higher wages will be considered with more training and experience.
